Tickets

The Preliminaries for the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition will be held on 23.04-4.05.2025 in two sessions: a morning session from 10 a.m. and an afternoon session from 5 p.m. The event will take place in the Chamber Hall of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.

Ticket sales for the Eliminations will begin on 15.01.2025 at 12.00 CET noon:

• online at tickets.nifc.pl,
• at the ticket offices of the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, 43 Tamka St., Warsaw.

Ticket prices:
Zone I: 60 PLN,- normal, 42 PLN,- reduced.
Zone II: 40 PLN,- normal PLN, 28,- discounted

• Discounted tickets (-30%) are available to pupils, students (up to 26 years of age), pensioners from the EU who have a valid document entitling them to a discount.
• During the Preliminaries, children 8 years of age and older are allowed in the chamber hall. Those disturbing the silence will be asked to leave the hall.
• Paid tickets to the Preliminaries for wheelchair users will be available by prior contact via email: bilety.konkurs@nifc.pl.
• Tickets for the Preliminaries can be returned no later than 13.04.2025. Regulations for ticket sales are available here.

Auditions in October will last 3 weeks. On October 20th, 2025, the new winner of the Chopin Competition will be announced. A day later there will be an awards gala and the first of three concerts of the winners.

Inaugural concert: 2nd October 2025.

STAGE I: 3rd-7th October 2025 (morning session at 10 a.m. and afternoon session at 5 p.m.)
STAGE II: 9th-12th October 2025 (morning session at 10.00 a.m. and afternoon session at 5.00 p.m.)
STAGE III: 14th-16th October 2025 (morning session 10.00 a.m. and afternoon session 5.00 p.m.)
FINAL: 18th-20th October 2025 (evening session at 6 p.m.)

The pass is valid for all competition auditions, except for the prize-winners’ concerts.

Limit of a single transaction in the system: 10 tickets and 2 passes.

Discounted tickets (-30%) are available to schoolchildren, students (up to 26 years of age), EU pensioners with a valid document entitling them to a discount.

During the competition auditions, children aged 8 and over are allowed in the concert hall. Those disturbing the silence will be asked to leave the hall.

Approximately 10 minutes before each competition audition, paid tickets will be sold only if seating is available in the hall.

Tickets returned by 30th June 2025 will be paid for at 100% of the ticket price.

From 1st July 2025 it will not be possible to return tickets.
