Extension of submission deadline for 19th Chopin Competition

The organisers of the competition kindly inform that due to numerous requests from pianists, the deadline for submitting applications is extended to 12 January 2025. This change will not affect the timing of the announcement of the results of the Qualifications. The list of those admitted to the Competition Preliminary Round will be made public through an announcement on the Institute's website posted by 5 March 2025.

On 6 May, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., a press conference will be held at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw to announce the list of names of pianists qualified to participate in the 19th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in October.
