The Institute will provide Competition participants with free board and accommodation for the following periods:
– Round one participants: 28 September to 9 October 2025
– Round two participants: 28 September to 14 October 2025
– Round three participants: 28 September until the end of the Competition
– Finalists: 28 September until the end of the Competition
with the provision that the participants will accept board and accommodation at the location indicated by the Institute.
Competition participants will be reimbursed for their documented costs of travel to and from Warsaw to participate in the Competition (upon production of an invoice/ticket showing the participant’s name). In the event of the costs clearly exceeding what in the Institute’s opinion are justified expenses (e.g. indirect route, late booking, flying in a class above Economy, etc.), the Institute reserves the right to partially reimburse the participants for the costs, and the decision to this end will be taken by the Competition Director.
Each participant of the Competition should come and register at the Competition Office no later than September 28.
The drawing of the letter starting the alphabetical order of the performances will be held publicly on 30 September 2025.
Piano selection will be held on September 29, September 30 and October 1 at the Concert Hall of the National Philharmonic. The date and time of the selection will depend on the order in which the participants register to the Competition Office.
On the day of registration, September 28, the Competition Office will be located in the Conference Room at the Fryderyk Chopin Institute (43 Tamka Street, floor 1), while from September 29 until the end of the Competition in room 208 at the National Philharmonic Hall (entrance from 5 Jasna Street, floor 2).
The Institute will provide the opportunity to practise at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (Okólnik 2 Street). Each participant will be able to practise during the hours allocated by the Institute.
Any changes must be submitted to the Competition Office via mail konkurs@nifc.pl:changes to the programme are possible no later than 21 August and changes to the biography or photos no later than the end of July.
Unfortunately, tickets for the Chopin Competition are completely sold out, however there will be an opportunity to purchase tickets on the day of the performance at the Philharmonic Box Office.
