Qianlin Tan was born on 26 September 2002. He is currently studying at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing under Ruoyu Huang. He has won 1st prize at the Haydn International Piano Competition in Vienna and 2nd prize at the Xinghai Cup in China. He has participated in over 50 solo and chamber music concerts organized by the Art Popularization Department of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. He also performs contemporary music and was invited by Xinghai Conservatory of Music to premiere a new composition at the finals of the First Lingnan Style Composition Competition.
