Yehuda Prokopowicz

Born on 16 November 2005, he is studying at Kraków Academy of Music with Krzysztof Książek. In 2024 he was awarded a Young Poland Scholarship. He has also studied with such outstanding artists and pedagogues as Lidia Grychtołówna, Philippe Giusiano, Aleksandr Kobrin, Eldar Nebolsin, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń and Zbigniew Raubo. He is a laureate of more than 30 competitions in Poland and abroad, winning the Grand Prix in the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Piano Competition in Piotrków Trybunalski, the Chopin Prize and fifth prize in the ‘Artur Rubinstein in memoriam’ Competition in Bydgoszcz, and third prize and a special prize in the 28th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youngsters in Szafarnia. In 2022 and 2024, he had the honour of performing at the Artur Rubinstein Festival in Lodz.
