Born on 21 June 1998, he graduated from the Yewon Arts High School in Seoul, then studied with Daejin Kim at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts and got his bachelor’s degree from Korea National University of Arts under Minsoo Sohn. He is continuing his master’s degree studies with Pietro De Maria at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. He has been awarded numerous prizes and won Grand Prix at The Asia Pacific International Chopin Competition, The Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Massarosa, the Korean Chopin and Liszt competitions and the Samick Seiler Piano Concours. As a Yamaha Rising Artist he has performed at venues in The Republic of Korea, Germany, Austria, Italy and Japan.
