Ariya Laothitipong

Born on 19 February 2004, since 2021 she has been tutored by Christopher Harding, and previously by Pornphan Banternghansa and Christopher Janwong McKiggan. She is the first ever Thai winner of the Franz Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Weimar. Lately, she has won prizes at the Nashville Chopin Competition, the Enschede Piano Competition and Illinois Young Artist Organization. She has performed with the Staatskapelle Weimar, Pro Musica String Ensemble, Thai Youth Orchestra and with Trio Matisse, winning 1st prize at the Briggs Chamber Music Competition in Ann Arbor and in New York. She has appeared at the Aspen and Rebecca Penneys Music Festivals.
