Born on 18 December 2003, he studied piano and composition with Tianhong Tan and Xin Xie at the high school attached to the China Conservatory of Music. He is currently a student of Jerome Lowenthal and Emanuel Ax at the Juilliard School. He has won prizes in many piano competitions, including second prize in the Steinway Piano Competition (2019), first prize in the Naumburg International Piano Competition (2023) and the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition at the Julliard School (2023), and second prize in the Bösendorfer & Yamaha USASU International Competition. He has given recitals in China, the US and Canada. In February 2024, he gave a recital at Carnegie Hall and premiered his latest composition. In June 2025, he was invited by Martha Argerich to perform in her festival in Hamburg, and became the only pianist that year receiving the Steinway Prize.
