Born on 11 February 2002, he began studying the piano at four and was awarded 2nd prize at the Sha De Cup competition by the age of five. He has studied with Galyna Popova in Music School attached to Xinghai Conservatory and graduated with top marks, then was offered scholarships by the Juilliard School, New England Conservatory of Music and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree at Oberlin Conservatory with Dang Thai Son. He has received prizes in competitions in New Orleans, Hong-Kong and Shanghai. Yubo also advanced to the final in the Busoni Competition
