Piano Congress 2025 in Warsaw

Piano Congress 2025 will take place on 25–28 September 2025 at the Museum of Polish History, one of the most modern museum buildings in Europe, located in the Warsaw Citadel.

Although the first piano was built over 300 years ago, for many it remains a mysterious instrument. That is why Piano Congress 2025 will aim to bring the piano closer to its users. To better understand the piano, it is important to understand the relationships that develop between the tuner, the pianist and, often, the sound engineer. We want to show different aspects of looking at the piano, which is why Piano Congress will be dedicated to all users and enthusiasts of this instrument, both professional and those just starting their adventure with the piano (and the upright piano).

This year's edition will consist of two parts: a seminar and an exhibition. The seminar part will be divided into two segments – educational (free and open to all) and industry-specific (intended for professionals). The programme includes lectures, panel discussions with audience participation and workshops led by renowned specialists from around the world, including experts in piano construction, restoration and tuning, as well as musicians and teachers. There will also be concerts by pianists representing different approaches to the piano – classical music, jazz and popular music.

The exhibition accompanying the congress is a space for presenting modern technological solutions, prototypes and a wide range of instruments.

For participants, it is a unique opportunity to learn about current trends and compare specific models in practice. It will showcase the world's leading piano manufacturers. As a result, this monumental and spacious building will be filled with sounds that do not usually have the opportunity to come together.
