He was born on 21 November 1995. He graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he studied piano with Wojciech Świtała, and from the Mozarteum University in Salzburg under the guidance of Pavel Gililov. He is also a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where he studied with Norma Fisher. He has been awarded scholarships from Krystian Zimerman, the Yamaha Foundation, the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and Sinfonia Varsovia (Franciszek Wybrańczyk Artistic Scholarship). He is a first prize winner of numerous international piano competitions, including those held in Saint-Priest, Vienna (2019) and Naples (2018). In recent years, he has performed recitals across most European countries, as well as in Canada, Dubai, Indonesia, and Japan, where in 2015 he accompanied the President of Poland during a state visit.

Andrzej Wierciński is the winner of the 1st prize at the Fryderyk Chopin National Piano Competition in 2015.
