Born on 12 October 2000, pianist of Chinese origin, he has studied at the Pre-College Division at The Phil & Eli Taylor Academy for Young Artists of The Royal Conservatory of Music under Michael Berkovsky, and then at the Yale School of Music under Boris Berman and Wei-Yi Yang. He is now tutored by Ning An at the Yong Siew Tow Conservatory of Music in Singapore. He has been a runner-up at the Bosendorfer/Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition in the US (2017); grand prize winner at the National Canadian Chopin Competition (2019); quarter-Finalist at The International Chopin Competition, Warsaw (2021). He has performed extensively across North America, Europe and Asia, including with the Royal Conservatory of Music Academy Chamber Orchestra in Koerner Hall of Toronto.
