Born on 28 September 1995, he is studying for an Artist Diploma at New England College under Alexander Korsantia and Dang Thai Son. He has triumphed at several international competitions: 1st prize at the Jaén International Piano Competition; 2nd prize at the Paloma O’Shea Santander International Piano Competition; 3rd prize at the Maria Canals International Music Competition. He took part in the International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 2021. He has performed at renowned venues such as Salle Cortot, Palau de la Música and Jordan Hall. Sun has played with leading orchestras, including the Symphony Orchestra of Galicia, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and China NCPA Orchestra. In 2013, Naxos Records released a CD with his performances of the works of Beethoven and Mussorgsky, among others.
