Born on 10 July 2000. By nine, he had joined the Seoul Arts Center Academy for Young Talented Musicians and after moving to Berlin began studying under Thomas Just and Konrad Engel at Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik. He has achieved top honors in major competitions, including 1st prize at the Sydney International Piano Competition, 1st prize at the Aarhus International Piano Competition, 1st prize at Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Competition in Berlin, then 4th and audience prizes at the Sendai International Piano Competition.
