Born on 13 November 2001 in China, since 2011 he has studied at the high school of Central Conservatory of Music (Beijing) under Yuan Wu, Bo Tong, and in the Conservatory itself under Danwen Wei since 2016. He has also studied chamber music under Rui Yan and Jiajia Shi. He has also been instructed by prestigious masters such as Tamás Ungár, Vladimir Ovchinikov, Bernd Goetzke and Pavlina Dokovska in their masterclasses. Yiming has a number of competition wins under his belt. In 2022, he triumphed at the LongThibaud International Competition and in 2024 at the Xiamen International Piano Competition.
