Born on 29 August 1996 in Seoul, he graduated with BA and MA Diplomas from the Korea National University of Arts under Kim Daejin, then with an MA from the New England Conservatory under Dang Thai Son. He is currently pursuing the Konzertexamen under Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. He has won Grand Prix at the Seoul International Music Competition (2024); a Special Prize at the Geneva International Music Competition (2018); the President’s Award for his contributions to the development of the Korea National University of Arts. He has performed in Moscow with the Novaya Rossiya State Symphony Orchestra under Yuri Bashmet, and with numerous other orchestras, including TIMF Orchestra and KBS Symphony Orchestra.
