Born on 21 December 2001 in China, he gave his first public recital at the age of eleven. He is now studying with Robert McDonald at the Juilliard School. He is also studying with Dmitry Alexeev, and between 2019–2022 was tutored by Dang Thai Son. He has won numerous international competitions, such as his debut at Carnegie Hall (Special Beethoven Prize), a piano competition in Cleveland, the Mozart Zhuhai Competition in China and 2nd prize for Young Musicians in Hilton Head. Xiaoxuan has performed in China, Japan, Italy, Germany, Poland and the US at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York, Waetjen Auditorium in Ohio, Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall and Shanghai Oriental Art Center.
