Hasan Ignatov
Bulgaria
Born on 15 December 2003, he studies under Joop Celis at the Maastricht Conservatorium. He has won, among others: 2nd prize at the 27th International Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth, Szafarnia; 1st prize in the 9th Liszt-Bartók-Kodály International Piano Competition, Sofia; 2nd prize in the 1st Carl Maria von Weber International Piano Competition, Dresden. He is a holder of many Bulgarian honors, including the President of Bulgaria Badge of Honor and is a Honorary Citizen of his hometown of Shumen. He has given concerts in the United States, UK, Austria, France, Poland, the Netherlands among others.
