Born on 4 January 2003, as a chamber pianist, she attended the Young Artist Program at the Cleveland Institute of Music (2017–2020) under Daniel Shapiro. She is studying under Dang Thai Son and Stanislav Ioudenitch at The Oberlin Conservatory. Athena has won 1st prizes at the Virginia Waring International Competition, the Canadian Music Competition, she received 2nd prize and award for the best Szymanowski performance at the Kościuszko Foundation Chopin Competition and 3rd prize at the William Knabe International Competition. She has appeared as a featured soloist with the National Philharmonic in Washington DC, the Volgograd Philharmonic Orchestra and the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra.
