Born on 15 March 2001, he studied at the Oberlin College and Conservatory in Ohio. He is now an MA student of Dang Thai Son at the New England Conservatory in Boston. In 2023 he won first prize in the 2023 Ljubljana Piano Competition and was invited asked to perform Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with the Taipei Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (cond. Yao-Yu Wu). In 2024 he won fourth prize and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society Youngest Finalist Award in the Leeds International Piano Competition (in the final performing Beethoven’s Fourth Concerto). That same year he performed Brahms’s Second Concerto with Yan Pascal Tortelier and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra in the opening concert of the Ljubljana Winter Festival.
