Yanyan Bao was born on 28 November 2006. After being admitted into The Colburn School in LA, California, Yanyan Bao is continuing her piano studies with Professor Fabio Bidini. She has attended masterclasses with celebrated pianists such as Gary Graffman, Arie Vardi and Sa Chen. She has won many prestigious prizes, including 1st prize at the International E-Piano Competition and 2nd prize at the Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Artists, the Singapore International (Junior) Piano Competition and the Beijing Fryderyk Chopin Young Pianist International Competition. She has given solo performances in numerous cities in China, France, Italy, Germany and the US.
